Glucan Corporation specializes in β-glucan products. β-glucan is well-known to many health researchers as a very effective substance for human health. In addition, many compounds including β-glucan are being currently used and developed for medicines, nutritional foods, and cosmetics.
Glucan Corporation has successfully developed the mass-fermentation process of Polycan having β-glucan 1.3/1.6 as one of active ingredients from Aureobasidium pullulans. The developed process and production strain is in a patent pending.
Polycan, the highly functional polysaccharide having β-glucan as one of active ingredients, has been proved for its functionalities such as immune system enhancer and osteoporosis suppression in many clinical demonstrations. Furthermore, the mass-fermentation process has been also proved for producing the stable quality of products. Thus, we will keep expanding our β-glucan products variation and meet the global demands for β-glucan products.
